Grand parking sympathique pour la journée car interdit la nuit pas de panneaux qui l'indique mais la police passe et verbalise.

Good spot. Nice and quiet in the nights. Big big down size: some people think they own the place and put all kinds of rubbish on the spot. And they also are taking 3 places. I even had a argument about it when they came back, and suddenly a lot of people came from everywhere against me... My van is only 6m, and I was staying only for 1 night! It's an unpaid parking! Big shame. I know why Portugal changed the law.

Flat and less crowded than the parking overlooking the barrage. Lots of good walking. Some long termers here. A gem.

Great walking area and excellent for motorbike off road, Very quite and just perfect to get away from the "madding crowd"

Large free parking area behind the dam. Flat but possibly muddy when wet. Can also drive past the entrance and carry on up the hill another 400m to an area at the top that has a great view. Lots of walking available. Could hold around 40 vans at the bottom of the hill or 10 - 12 at the top of the hill. Access was easy and even at the top there were several 8m vans. No services available.
