Good spot for 2 or 3 campers max do not overdo it locals are getting annoyed and are requesting a height barrier to be put in place. other than that nice quiet area outskirts of petworth very covered by trees with dog walks nearby
Amazing spot. You can see the road but it is very quiet at night as only locals drive through. Great walks to spend the last hours of the day or to take the dog for a walk. we had another campervan and a motorhome as "neighbours" but there's so much space we did not even mind. Highly recommend it as it is in a great location if you are visiting South Downs National Park.
Beautiful place. Can just about see the road and somewhat hear it with the vents open but not a busy road at all. Flat area but two other vans there didn’t want to park near so used levels. Nice to wake up to the woods in the morning. A few trails if you did want to have a country walk. Pub nearby if you fancy a pint. No height restrictions. Rained the day of arrival but not muddy at all.
Quiet stop for a night, pub just down the road with good ales. No problems
Really good for one night. Nice pub a 10 min walk. No other vans just dog walkers who didn’t mind us being there. Saw a deer whilst in the woods so just be mindful if you have a dog.
Waldparkplatz etwas 100 Meter von der Straße entfernt, halbwegs eben. Außer Vogelgezwitscher haben wir nichts gehört. Sehr ruhige Nacht.
great spot in the forest, quiet location & close to the town & pub. no facilities & still get service. in the morning it can get busy as a local dog walking spot
Good spot. Pretty flat. Had it to myself 5pm to 8am when dog walkers arrived. Very quiet with minimal road noise. No height restrictions, probably room for about 5 or 6 vehicles. Good paths for dog walking. Possible warning: looked like there was some glass on the ground as if someone had had their car window smashed recently.
We had a great night staying here, we were the only ones so it was very quiet and peaceful, only thing was it was quite close to the road. We took a scenic walk to a local pub called The Welldiggers Arms which had great food and was very dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here one night. left alone at night and it was absolutely dark. Think we heard a car early morning. great stop
Lovely little park up. Room for 4 or 5 vans. Very quiet and peaceful. No noise at all. Close to a road but didn’t hear it. Miles of dog walking in the woods which are privately owned but all are welcome. Really good for a night or 2.
Excellent little spot a five minute drive out of Petworth. Very peaceful and dark! A walk straight into the woods for dogs. Would recommend.
Stayed here for one night and it was a very quiet and relaxing stopover, in a lovely location away from the main road. A few cars pulled up in the evening and dog walkers in the morning but other than that I was all alone. No facilities nearby.
Brilliant stopover. An almost perfect setting. Not disturbed at all. Will stay here again. Got there quite late so wasn’t able to try this but there looks to be a nice pub a bout a minute walk down the gravel road.
Almost a perfect spot for a nights stay. Very quiet at night time and good 4g signal. Down sides dog walkers arrive early in morning and is covered by trees so not much solar in the day. Also a little uneven but is ok. Would stay again! Plenty of room for 2 or 3 campers
