Écourt-Saint-Quentin,

Très beau lieu, couché de soleil sur l'étang, belle faune, pas de pêcheur ni d e promeneur pour nous. Seul bémol: les chasseurs qui s'en donnent à cœur joie à 23h30 et à 4h du matin puis la matinée... Assez loins heureusement. Et canards très bavards même la nuit

quite tight and bumpy road but lovely and quiet once you're there. wouldn't recommend for big mohos. I went past the first main parking and past 2 other spots that were busy and found a third down the road, not sure how many more there is.

Iets van de route, maar een hele mooie en rustige plek!

Meant to stop at the car park spot but it was shut. Drove down a couple hundred metres to a spot that opened up on the water. Lots of people fishing but they weren’t disturbed by us. No facilities around but there is a bin nearby. Beautiful sunset other side of the lake/pond and a few bugs at dusk. No bugs at night when we went to bed. Lovely to watch the bats at night. You can hear the road but barely as it was overtaken by the sound of birds, frogs and water. Stopped here as a stop off back to Calais, will definitely come back.
