Small area right next to the beach with a slight slope, room enough for 3 vans. Ground is solid but a little sandy which may be a problem at different times of year or after a weather event. No facilities but great views and beach access. Access to a nice coastal walk.

On our way to this Park for Night, we passed a rental van which was the warden for the area and was moving campers on and gave us a leaflet, she said no overnight at Shawbost beach, the other carpark is better

Nice spot, strong seaweed rotting smell. At 7pm a young lady came by with a hivi vest and gave us leaflets. She said she was the ranger for the area. She claimed that it wasn't actually legal to wild camp in Lewis and they encouraged campers to go to the nearby campsite. Leaflet mentions no law. First time hearing about this in 2 years. We still left to another wild camping place further away.

Quiet car park with plenty of space. However, at the time of us visiting the stench of something rotten (perhaps sewage or a huge amount of rotting seaweed?) was overpowering and made us feel ill so we did not stay long. We are not sensitive at all however the smell was a step too far for us. A shame as there is a pleasant beach.

Perfect. Level, sheltered parking area. Peaceful; nothing to hear but the birds and waves. Right beside a beautiful stretch of sandy beach and a loch. A couple of locals passed walking their dogs. One other camper overnight. A short walk to Mollans for home made food and supplies! Highly recommended.

What a lovely stop. Great views good walk for the dog. Very quiet if a little windy. Few dog walkers

Lovely spot right next to a gorgeous beach. As noted by others it does slope a little. Locals seem happy with people parking here. There is a small bridge on the access, could be tight with a larger vehicle.

what a park up. absolutely beautiful beach.. took our breath away. fantastic for dogs. all the locals that walked by (to walk their dogs mainly) gave us a friendly wave and some came over for a chat. No problems parking here, its bliss.

fantastic spot, space for 5 or 6 vans plus access road to other park up across the bay. enjoyed seeing the otters crossing the beach from the Loch behind. Good mobile signal with 4g. no facilities but don't let that put you off this perfect park up
