I definitely would not recommend this location - it's frequented by people that like to partake in certain night time activities.
Parking pour les sentiers forestiers, jamais occupé la nuit. Jam bondé le week-end par beau temps. Escalade à proximité à Taffs Well, Castell Coch vaut le détour ! Pas de bacs ! S'il vous plaît, ramenez vos déchets à la maison !
Parking for forest fawr trails, never busy at night. Jam packed on weekends in the right weather. Nearby climbing at Taffs Well, Castell Coch itself worth a visit! No bins! Please take your rubbish home!
Parkplatz für Waldwege, nachts nie besetzt. Am Wochenende bei passendem Wetter rappelvoll. Klettern in der Nähe von Taffs Well, Castell Coch selbst ist einen Besuch wert! Keine Mülltonnen! Bitte nehmen Sie Ihren Müll mit nach Hause!

Nice walk in the daytime but car flashing their lights and beeping their horns once it get darks.

Terrible it’s 0215 and we’ve have people coming and going since sundown. Some have been doing doughnuts in their cars right next to the van.

Eigentlich ein nicer Spot, nahe dem Wald.. Allerdings ist hier wahrscheinlich ein Drogenübergabespot oder so weil hier alle 5 Minuten ein Auto hält, 2 Minuten steht und dann weiterfährt. Eins ist auch kurz gedriftet (aber sehr peinlich ohne diff Sperre und zu wenig Leistung, trotz regen) Ab 23 Uhr sind auch ein paar Schüsse gefallen, unser Hund ist jetzt im Himmel aber wir haben es überlebt

Thought what a lovely spot, until 9.15pm when the local boy racers were flying in and out, chucking rubbish everywhere, beeping their horns are us and shouting things. We ignored. It scared our son and we thought it would probably continue so moved on at 9.45. Would not recommend. We may have just been unlucky.
