Perfect overnight stop, quiet road, only one other camper at the opposite end. Beautiful walks nearby and easy access to Coniston Water. Good signal too! (Enough to watch Netflix!!)
Petit parking juste à côté de la rue. Court chemin vers la plage. Nous étions sur le lac avec le SUP. Le soir c'est très calme. Il n'y a aucun signe ici que vous n'êtes pas autorisé à passer la nuit. Un seul emplacement est plat, un maximum de 2 ou 3 campeurs possible.
Small parking lot right next to the street. Short way to the beach. We were on the lake with the SUP. In the evening it gets very quiet. There are no signs here that you are not allowed to stay overnight. Only one place is flat, a maximum of 2 or 3 campers possible.
Kleiner Parkplatz direkt neben der Straße. Kurzer Weg zum Strand. Wir waren mit dem SUP auf dem See. Abends wird es sehr ruhig. Es stehen hier keine Schilder, dass man hier nicht übernachten darf. Nur ein Platz ist eben, maximal 2 oder 3 Wohnmobile möglich.

LiamClarke4704/11/2023Great little stop just off the main road, stayed on a Friday night and nobody else was here. Woke up to other cars and vans. A few cars can be heard driving past at night but overall a good spot with bins. But it is a little hilly but it’s free!!!

Lovely quiet spot, quietens down from a bit traffic noise from 19.30, and a few people coming in and out of the evening to take the five minute walk to waters edge. Lots of little paths through fern shrubbery to explore. Dog friendly, and has litter bins emptied Friday (when I was there).

Nice quite area stayed here one night no issues rangers drove past multiple times had no issues just leave the site as you find it
steelaway16/08/2023Bit of a squeeze but doable. We were grateful to find anywhere that night There are 2-3 other possible small carparks further along the road. Half mile further is a small carpark with toilets - handy to empty our cassette WiFi is good but no TV
BOTG30/06/2023One area is fairly flat, it's next to main road which fairly quiet with 1 or 2 cars at 7.pm gets quieter. . Beautiful sound sof birds in woodland next to. Parking spot.. . Parking is fairly flat for 2 or 3 more. road to here along Coniston is thin.. So take main roads..

Parked up here to get some work done - good signal on EE & o2. Big enough for our 7.4m van. A 5-10min walk down to the waters edge. Bins in car park.

Good spot, stayed one night and left the following evening. Was empty overnight but was busy all day and stayed busy until I left as it was a sunny day. Short walk from the lake which is lovely. Bins were overflowing however. Some tight corners on the road to get here.

Ich habe hier eine ruhige Nacht verbracht, nur wenig bis gar kein Verkehr zwischen 22.30 Uhr und 7 Uhr. Direkt vom Parkplatz aus gehen schöne Spazierwege ab und man ist in wenigen Minuten am See.

Lovely spot, we stayed one very happy night here. Fairly flat space for 2 or 3 campers at a push. Beautiful walks behind through trees to lake! Few walkers in morning, all friendly.

Quiet at night, lovely walks. It’s just a car park for walkers set a little back from the road. View of Coniston water. Please leave clean and with no trace. Bins in car park.
