Salisbury ,Unnamed Road

Great place for a night with amazing views of Stonehenge. Road was muddy and as below comments pretty bumpy. A few other vans were with us when we stayed so seems like a popular place - please respect this site so it remains open for everyone

Have often seen vans parked here and now we know why. Lovel views of Stonehenge and the countryside. The road is very potholed but we made it down in our xtra long transit without grounding out. The lane is marked as no right turn, so if traffic is busy head down to the roundabout a short distance away & turn around to approach from the other direction. No bins, so take your rubbish home.

Stayed here from Christmas Eve till Christmas day PM.. Road is very bumpy with lots of deep potholes, but is manageable.. Beautiful views of Stonehenge and surrounding area. Quiet nights with plenty of space between each van. Road is better further down the drove.. No bins so take your rubbish home with you. The road is closed for any of the solstices throughout the year.

nice spot, woke in the morning to find my fuel cap open, so suspect that someone may have had a go at siphoning fuel from my tank over night.
