We heard from a friend that this place welcomes campervans so we decided to stay as we’d also heard great things about the food & Guinness there! We are so happy we discovered it!! We parked at the back with a beautiful view of the Sugar Loaf mountain & walked across to the pub it maybe takes 20 seconds. The staff were so friendly & again said we were welcome to stay overnight! They have beautiful outdoor dining spaces that are covered & every thing is spaced out & organised! The food didn’t disappoint we had their famous mussels & a Beef & Guinness Pie that was the best food we have had this trip! Honestly amazing!! And the Guinness yes… now we know why they are so famous!! If you like Guinness you have to come to Johnnie Fox’s!! It was a beautiful sunny evening so our waitress told us we should go to see the Giants Grave an ancient burial tomb we could walk to & gave us directions, honestly so beautiful to find this place hidden amongst the forest. The Place is close to both the Wicklow & Dublin Mountain Way. Today they recommended we also go to Fairy Castle & 360 views over Dublin City & all the way to the Wicklow Mountains. We will definitely come & stay again! We highly recommend this spot it was a great addition to our trip!

Wir haben gefragt, ob wir für 1 Nacht bleiben dürfen, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Der Overflow Parking ist nicht eben, aber mit den Stützen geht's tip top. Das Essen war sehr gut und Abends haben wir die Live Music an der Bar genossen. Es gibt auch Shows inkl. Essen, die muss man online im Voraus buchen.

Large and a bit sloppy gravel parking lot next to a bar with tasty food and fine pint. You can book a table online at the Johhnie Fox’s website. There is a nice walk to the Giant’s Grave prehistoric megalithic circle with great views to all sides.

Great advertisement for Irish hospitality, food, drink and atmosphere in the pub is top notch. Campervans are welcome to stay overnight in the overflow car park when you are a customer. Only drawback is that the carpark is not exactly level but we found a decent spot, may not be so easy if u there were a lot of campers there but I think levelling blocks would be allowed.

Grote (plek voor minstens 50 grote voertuigen) nieuwe, schuin aflopende parkeerplaats aan de overkant van de weg, (kleine parking naast de pub vol). geen voorzieningen(!), zwakke Wi-Fi van de pub. wel goede hspa. bij de pub veel buiten tafels met beperkte kaart, afhalen bij loketje. voor restaurant eten moet je echt een dag van tevoren reserveren anders ben je kansloos.mosselen zijn erg lekker!

2eme parking du pub Johnnie Fox’s. Nous avons demandé au pub la possibilité d’y dormir après y avoir mangé. Très bon repas. Nuit du jeudi au vendredi. Très calme.

Staff very happy to allow overnight stays. Pub itself gets very mixed reviews these days. But we enjoyed it. Only had desserts and drinks. Huge car park is quiet and has some decent views. But only a handful of level spots.

V quiet at bottom of overflowing car park. level ramp needed, but possible without. No obvious point for grey or black waste or rubbish.

Nous avons passé une nuit le week-end de Pâques après avoir été mangé et passé une soirée en écoutant la musique. Un pub qui date de 1798, une déco à voir. La nuit a été moyenne mais on s'en doutait

Todo muy bien, dormimos una noche allí, pedimos permisos en el Pub y nos dejaron, bajo nuestra responsabilidad, pero por allí no pasa nada. El único tema es que está un poco inclinado. Pero el fondo encontramos una zona plana. Genial
