Stunning views, truly beautiful. Seems to be a major hangout spot for youths with cars though. I had three visitors, one parked near me until after 2am, but all kept to themselves. I stayed on a cold October night, but wouldn't go back in summer/warmer weather etc., it's probably party central. If that doesn't bother you, it's a lovely spot, with many alternatives nearby if you want to change.
Magnifique spot mais trop de vent pour y rester la nuit. La route est a sens unique sauf la dernière partie.
Stunning long distance view. Slightly sloping with a few level areas. Very aggressive speed bumps but they keep the racers away. We took the Lake Navar forest loop road which is one-way and has a turnoff for the viewpoint.
Didn't stay this site but walked from the bottom up there are now speed ramps in the car park. see photos.
Absolutely amazing view. Very out of the way but worth it. a warning though: if you're coming from the west google will try take you down a bohreen, there is no through road! locals have put up signs but too far down the road. navigate via the Glenasheevar road instead
Lovely views, pity about the litter and the louts drinking and playing music until late. Otherwise quieter later in the night.
Breathtaking spot. Flat and level. Phone signal on 3. Do not take the road from church hill road !! you will drive on a gravel road for miles only to be met with a locked gate. Only accessible from glennasheevar road main entrance.
After traveling down a very narrow single lane for miles the access to parking is blocked. Don't bother.
