Pulled in as it was dark and raining - made dinner, then bed. Two other campers present. Then we heard many voices of people walking around the camper directly by the windows. Peaking out they were out at the shore, walking around a fire, in the pouring rain - extremely strange behavior. Seen walking by other campers too. Eventually they left on a bus. Woke up to snow and reindeer around the van!
Had a peaceful night with about 5 other campers one of which was a tent... must have been cold for them. would recommend for a srop over and woke to beautiful views.
Very pretty views, but there is quite a lot of slop on the pavement. Very crowded - 20 campers parked overnight. Also there was a very long and loud argument with many people involved at 3 am with doors banging. Couple Motorhomes left after that and it was quiet again.
Hyvä ja siisti parkkialue hienolla näkymällä, mutta paljon ohikulkuliikennettä. Jos melu ei haittaa, niin hyvä paikka yöpyä. Oli aika täynnä.
Beaucoup trop de monde et d'allers et venues à n'importe quelle heure de la nuit. certains arrivent et parlent, cris à 3h00 du matin, aucun respect. ce matin un camping car a laissé sa poubelle sur le goudron. Nous sommes voyageurs et ne faisons pas cela.

A truly beautiful place! The water was clear, and you can swim from the shore. No mosquitoes to speak of.

Un bel endroit avec une vue magnifique pour une halte avant de se rendre en Finlande. C'est un parking assez important mais très fréquenté, en contrebas de la route. Nous y avons passé une bonne nuit car cette route n'est pas très bruyante.

I have stayed here almost every time going over border. Still very good place to stay over night, quiet and peaceful. There were other mobile homes at the same time.

perfect place for a night. no services, but it was quiet even though the parking lot was full at night and there was road right next to the parking lot.
Super Platz für die Nacht wenn man z.B. den Saana oder den Dreiländerpunkt erwandern möchte. Ca. 5km vom Parkplatz mit dem Startpunkt der Wanderung (dort ist die Übernachtung verboten). Schwimmen im See möglich. Schönes Panorama. Sehr empfehlenswerter Parkplatz mit viel Platz.
Sehr schöner Platz mit Blick aufs Wasser und die Berge. Bademöglichkeiten, ein Picknicktisch und 2 Grillplätze (ohne Sitzmöglichkeiten) vorhanden. Rentiere kommen ganz nah heran (10m). Keine Toiletten, Tretmine im angrenzenden Wald, keine Mülleimer vorhanden.
Mooie plaats waar veel campers staan. De nacht is rustig aangezien er weinig verkeer passeert. Goed voor een nacht op doortocht.
Lovely view and plenty of level space for vans. Well distanced from the main road so very quiet at night. Would stay here again!
Sehr schöner Stellplatz mit Seeblick. Perfekt für eine Nacht. Trotz Strasse gut geschlafen

Lovely area, but crowded in season, lot’s of traffic and after 8PM there wasn’t any room for parking.

lovely big area. we parked on gravel area at waterfront with another larger motorhome, plenty of room but for some reason, cars kept parking directly behind us. not sure if they wanted shelter, was very windy as right on waterfront. quiet night, herd of Reindeer walking down main road next morning.
Beautiful spot by the lake. Plenty of level parking on the paved area or gravel even closer to the lake. Magnificent at sunset. Didn’t hear traffic noise as it’s below the level of the road. No facilities.

Schöner Stellplatz! Haben hier 2 ruhige Nächte verbracht und konnten die unglaublichen Polarlichter sehen! Ab und zu kommen auch Rentiere vorbei. 2 Feuerstellen und 1 Picknicktisch sind vorhanden, leider keine Mülleimer, trotzdem sauber!
Nice view, good for one night. Very busy though, around 12 campers at same time. Close to street so bit load.
Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den noch teilweise zu gefrorenen See und die gegenüber liegenden Berge. Für eine Nacht okay. relativ laut durch nahe Straße und LKW.
Unschlagbare Aussicht auf den See. Umgeben von Bergen. Ich durfte hier sogar die Polarlichter sehen :)

Parkplatz mit toller Aussicht über den See & in die Berge. Genügend Platz, auch für größere Fahrzeuge & Wendemöglichkeit. Man sollte autark sein, da es bis auf einen Picknick-Tisch & mehrere Feuerstellen nichts gibt.
Ça dépanne pour une nuit après les randos mais pas mal de monde sur place.
Beautiful view, place to walk the dog, crystal clear water, there were quite a lot of campers, but the place is big enough for many :)
Great views to a lake but also to the Saana fell. A grocery store and a gas station nearby.
