Whoever said we can't stay at this location is way out of line, there are no signs and this is not private land!

Stayed here last night. Lovely spot! A couple of cars turned up lateish but weren't any problem. Road noise is there but unobtrusive. Enjoyed watching the bats and stargazing.

I frequently use this spot to when visiting my family in the area. However, I know that the residents of this street (yes there are residential properties very close by) are not too happy, as vans and motorhomes have remained parked up an camping sometimes for a week at a time...Yes there are no restrictions, but I think common courtesy is a must.

Great looking, secure feeling spot, but constant loud traffic noise (for some reason it is almost as loud as aircraft flying low overhead, maybe because the road is raised).

Parked right next to the loch and had a peaceful night. 3 other vans parked up along the canal aswell. road wasn't too noisey, and beautiful views to wake up to.

Uitzonderlijk mooi plekje bij meerdere kleine sluisjes uit 1870. Zeer de moeite waard om een kleine wandeling te maken en geschikt voor overnachting. Verder geen voorzieningen voor Campers. Zeer idyllisch plekje.

Good park up for a quick overnighter. Very near to main road and traffic noise is the reason why I didn't rate it higher. Didn't stay long enough to appreciate the surroundings.

Lovely area to explore. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but the traffic noise from the nearby A-road and the illegal use of a horn by a frequently-passing driver (Why? Who knows...) make it a 4. Water and bins beside the canal a little south from here. They're for the boat people but you may be able to use them. Stay clear of the grassy triangle near the road bridge, it attracts noisy car people.

Work currently underway on the lock, and the car parks been mostly surround in fencing. Still a little space at the end. Background noise from the road at night, but apart from that quite peaceful.

Peaceful, quiet and free. We spent one night here and had no problems. No amenities at all, not even a bin. Although there is a dog poo bin if you’re travelling with furry friends.

Stayed here in a really pretty location, seemed busy with night fisherman, sadly there was a lot of music till gone 3am. We moved further up the road where it states it is for private vehicles, in the morning a male came out and kindly asked us to move as his son was coming and would need to park there. Lovely spot and hopefully the noise was a one off. stunning morning walk along the canal.

A beautiful spot, right at the historic Grand Union Canal. We feel a little bit isolated here, being the only camper, but hopefully it ends well. Local pubs about 2 km away, also nicely situated next to the canal.
