A beautiful spot with stunning views over the Snowdonia massif. I regularly stop here when visiting the area and usually find a few other vans do too. Didn’t see any signs on my latest visit this week either.

Space for 4 campers/motorhomes. Beautiful views of the lake and Snowdon. No facilities. Lots of rubbish around so done a litter pick.

New signage stating 'No Overnight Camping' day had to move on.

Stayed here last night. No sign restricting overnight stays and 5 other vans here too. Wide layby with plenty of room though the road was quite busy until around 10:30pm. Only one car felt the need to beep so not a problem. Recommended but please don’t leave litter or use it for a toilet as someone obviously had! Don’t want to lose the few spots left with no restrictions…

Road side lay-by, with clear lake nearby. Space for 4/5 campers. There is a sign that states “no overnight parking” however we have stayed here a few times and have never been bothered!

Beautiful views of the lake plenty of room for motorhome and vans did not see any sign about no overnight stay there are a few of these all along the road got here around 6pm not much traffic passing so nice and quiet.

Boss little spot to stay near snowdon. Beautiful location with stunning views over the lake. Lots of space for a few vans and cars. Plenty of space and very quiet too. Stayed Friday night to Saturday morning.

Lovely spot, however too good to be true now there is a sign up for no staying! There is many 1 space lay bys up and down the road, and then you have the RAC boulders you could stay at not far

Probably one of the best roadside park ups in Snowdonia. Space for 4 - 5 vans with access straight into the lake. Stunning views out over the lake and towards the Snowdon horseshoe. The road can get a bit busy at the weekends as it’s one of the main access routes to the Llanberris pass and Snowdon. You do get the odd local giving you a toot of their horn as they drive past midweek, but none of the hostility you get in other spots. Great 4G phone signal with O2 too.

Incredible spot to stop. Double wide lay by, room for up to 4 motorhomes. Had a swim in the lake, busy road during day but quiet at night.

Great view, especially of Snowdon in the morning sun. One other van but not a peep from them! Very quiet at night and only a few cars going by otherwise. Marshy access to lake at the moment

Great place to stay overnight with spectacular views towards Mt Snowdon. Was very windy the night I stayed but not a problem, and very little traffic noise the later the evening drew on.

Layby with acess to the lake for swimming and washing up. A bit windy but with a wonderful view (Snowdon and a few more plus the lake).
