Peaceful unrestricted camping height barriers are now in place in the carpark but were open. we parked on rd with a free other Van's a way past the car park.

Lots of parking all along the road by the castle. It can be quite noisy at night. Lots of visitor cars so as said best arrive early or late. Arundel is such a lovely town and the castle, while expensive to go in, is well worth it. Stayed 2 nights. Thank you Arundel

Beaucoup de place, au pied du beau château. Le cadre est champêtre, des toilettes sont à proximité et la ville d’Arundel est très intéressante à visiter. À proximité de l’A27, parfait !

Idéal pour visiter le château , peu de circulation après 22:00 et reprise vers 7:00 . Nuit tranquille . Jeux pour enfant juste avant les toilettes publiques

We spent 2 nights here last weekend. An excellent spot, fairly level with no parking restrictions. Views on both sides are pleasant, castle or open fields, with toilets nearby. The road is very busy in the day with parked cars but traffic clears out after 4 pm so be prepared to use a pay and display car park until spaces become available. Only a short walk into town with plenty of restaurants.

Brilliant place to stay. There was about 20 campers here. It'll probably get busier as the weather gets better. Nice walk into town or in the other direction to country walks and the black rabbit.

Place de parking en bord de route, vue sur le château. Les voitures passent très vite en soirée mais à partir de 21h c'est plus calme. Je n'ai pas vu de panneau d'interdiction d'y dormir, plusieurs camping car étaient également garés pour la nuit. En journée 1h de parking max. Toilettes proches, nous avons fait un appoint d'eau car le robinet n'était pas pratique.

Lovely spot. Felt very safe. Lots of campers usually parked up here so perfect for stopping off overnight. The sound of ducks. Lots of wildlife. Great views of the castle with a nice walk to the lake. Toilets nearby which is lovely. Went into town and got breakfast. Road is quiet at night. We loved this spot.

Arrived about 11pm on a winter's night and there were about 20 other campers here. Made me feel very safe. Peaceful night. A small stream runs alongside the river, lots of ducks to look at. Can also see the castle from the road. I recommend Arundel Brewhouse if you fancy a beer.

Parked up for the day to explore the town, very busy getting a space. Would be possible for overnight if you don’t mind parking but he side of the road. W/C in carpark down the road.

Amazing views to the castle! Toilets only a few meters (they were open in the morning but closed and night) Better to arrive in the evening to find a good spot, quite busy in the morning very nice place to spend the night!

Nice free parking for my motorhome. easy walk into the lovely town. visited the castle, the cathedral and some of the shops. thank you to the town. toilets in main car park.

Loved this spot, quiet at night. A little busy but managed to get a place easily around 1600 when cars seemed to be leaving for the day. Parked at the far end of the road before the bridge where the regulars seem to park. Would have done the £10 car park option if it had been full. Great base to see the castle and town.

Been here twice now and will go back plenty to do during the day even for the kids and great walks. busy during day and weekends but evening are pretty quite got a good nights sleep in my T4.

Great spot - easy to find a space even on a Sunday. Free and very quiet road at night. I also had a wonder in the morning and mill road car park allows you to camp in a grassy area for ten pounds a night. And it’s locked at night so more secure if that is what you’re looking for. I felt very safe on the Road though - lots of other campers

One of the best resting places in the area, free parking with good views, you might have the odd speeding car passing late in the evening, but there are other friendly van campers there.

I’ve been here for two days/nights. There are approx. 10 other campervans/motorhomes here, some have been parked for over two-weeks. There are toilets open during the day, a bakery and small grocery store and great fish & chips. Lots of nature walks around too, although the castle is closed due to Coronavirus.

Can't believe Arundel don't charge for this ... right next to the castle, with fields on the other side.. loads of camper vans and motorhomes on an evening.

Lovely quiet and dark camping. The road is lined with trees and has a great view of the castle. The public toilets are open from 8am - 8pm but I tried a little earlier and they were open then. They were also clean and spacious as they have private basins in too. This is a great place for a stay in Arundel - a very welcoming and a beautiful town.

Spent two quiet nights here and even had a BBQ on the grass outside our door. It seems a popular road for boy racers with loud exhausts at night, but they stopped about bed time so no big deal. Road fills with cars in daytime. Description mentions barriers but that's nonsense, there are none on this road only on the car park near the town.

Beaucoup de circulation, même très tard, et ça roule vite.Vraiment pas terrible mais chose rare, c'est gratuit. Lol Pour 10 £ on a préféré passer une autre nuit au parking en herbe à côté, la nuit fut bien plus tranquille.

Relativ viel Verkehr, auch Nachts. Viele Spaziergänger. Es stehen sehr viele Übernachter dort, hab mich nicht so wohl gefühlt, aber für eine Not-Nacht schon ok.

Perfect free place to park! View of Arundel Castle and open field other side. Can be busy as it is a popular place to park for other campers and cars but we had no problem finding a spot. Very quiet and dark at night. Toilets down the road but I think you have to pay but free toilets in town. Bins available. Short walk into town centre. Note the Arundel Castle is closed over winter. Opens April
