Came across this place while looking for another and decided to stay. The morning views over the valley listening to the cows were great. We slept in our roof top tent and didn't get bothered at all. A few other vans parked up as the evening went on. Great place to stop!

Stayed here on a Saturday night. There are a series of large and small lay by’s most of which are on a slight hill. There was already other campers here when we arrived approx 6:30pm but still plenty of spaces. Views are fantastic on a clear day but weather can be worse at such a height.

Go to the top of the hill. Just one other camper parked loads of spaces. The views are fantastic.

Incredible views over bakewell. these 3 laybys are great for overnight. the odd car after 9. fab nights sleep. 4 mile walk into bakewell. get the 3rd layby at the top you'll have it to yersen.

Great find and night stay. Ground is slightly un level and would recommend raps, but great night sleep and views!

Awesome place to stop. Views right down to Harbrough, Monsal Head and Chatsworth. Plenty of space for everyone who wants to go. there must have been 20 vans there the same night as us but didn't feel crowded at all.

We really enjoyed this spot :) There were many places to park along the lane, and a great opportunity to chat with other campervanners! The view was great, and the ground seemed pretty level to us. Recommend!

Spent one night here. Peaceful, beautiful and pleasant chat with a local farmer who passed us by. Great access to good walks. Also good for blackberry picking.

Great spot. Plenty of room. Beautiful views. Many walkers and cyclists also use it to park in the morning as a base for their activity.

Lovely quiet spot. There are 3 or so lay bys on the road up each with enough space for a couple vans. No trouble and perfect location for venturing out into the peaks. :)

Amazing place and Views. 3 Parking laybays , free ...also about 3 little spaces for one small van facing the views .. Free. Made our little stay at the Peak District special . Beautiful

Amazing views and lots of footpath options. A very quiet road (mainly single track access - wouldn't fancy it in a big Motorhome)

We had a very peaceful, quiet night here. Beautiful views and a couple of other campers around as well. Quite open to the weather so could be different if very windy.
