Grande zone gravillonnée à gauche de la route en direction d'Oxenhope

Large gravelled layby area on the side of the road looking down over the town and vally below.

A little sloped but a few flat spots if you park right.

One bin.

Quite exposed to the weather.

Road tends to be quiet at night and busy in the morning.

Great spot for a dog walk as there are public footpaths next to the spot. Sheep in fields so may need to keep dogs on a lead.

Positives: fantastic views and very convenient, not many visitors and good phone signal (EE). Negatives: Exposed (although that doesn't bother us), not easy to get level, Traffic and occasional boy-racers passing all night, including someone who felt the need to learn on his horn at 02:00!! Overall though, a good spot.

Good night sleep and great walking

the footpath is along the Thornton Moor Conduit, which is a man made channel moving water around several reservoirs, so was an interesting dog walk. Not much traffic but a few late cars pulling in with music playing. Overall a good nights sleep and pleasant view.

A really great spot for the night. The reason for the 4* review is... Around 2:30am, a car pulled up playing very loud aggressive rap music. This eventually woke me. Unfortunately for them, it woke my friend in her van before it woke me. It turns out they were shagging and didn't hear her knock on the window. She opened their car door mid act and asked them to turn the music down. They left.

Good view. Can be a little windy / exposed at night but a nice local spot. Good service too

Fabulous views, but bajillions of midges (early August). We had to move off by 7.30pm and went to Haworth down in the valley.
