Very large carpark and no services other than a bin, but all in all, very nice. We turned up early afternoon and the place was empty. Had a walk around the nature trails for a few hours and still empty. Few cars popped in and out but quiet night alone.

très calme en cette saison mais nous étions tout de même 2 à rester dormir. aboiement de chiens jusqu'à 23h environ mais bien dormi. 15 min à pied depuis la forêt du couvent et de ses jardins

Waren hier im Februar. Es ist völlig eben und auch sauber. Es gibt Mülltonnen. Toiletten waren verschlossen. Nachts war nur ein weiterer Transporter da und auch tagsüber ist kaum Betrieb. Allein die Aussicht vom Parkplatz aus ist schon den Besuch wert. Morgens nicht den Sonnenaufang verpassen! Und der Eingang in den Park liegt direkt nebenan!
Schöner Platz und man spart sich die 15€ auf dem unteren Parkplatz. Wir haben hier gut geschlafen. Anfahrt war mit unserem 7,5 Tonner und 7m Länge kein Problem. Für Fahrzeuge mit langen und tiefen Überhang könnte es an einer Stelle eng werden.
Wonderful lot to park for free and visit the National Forest. The paid lots want 15€ for a camper! Park here, save your money and enjoy a little bit longer walk!
Great stop, we stayed one night. A few cars drove in and out late evening but quiet. Dark at night, thus good for stargazing. Gate gives direct access into the park which is good to explore.
Bonne nuit tranquille sur le parking. On était tout seul avec les étoiles et un magnifique lever de jour au dessus de la brume ! On a bien sûr profité d'un petite promenade dans ce beau parc bien vert. Le soir quelques passages de voiture en contre-bas mais pas dérangeant du tout, et ... on est chez eux ;-)
parking parfait pour visiter le parc. aucune interdiction. il est plat, calme, gratuit. nuit parfaite.
Grand parking au dessus du parc, gratuit en journée, nous n’avons pas essayer la nuit. Un circuit de 6,5km en suivant les flèches bleus vous fait découvrir la forêt (c’est le circuit des plus vieux arbres de la forêt) en passant par tout les points à voir (palais, fontaine fria, chapelle etc)
perfecto para aparcar. aunque pone la señal de no caravanas,nosotros la dejamos unas horas para ver el bosque. merece mucho la pena.a pie desde el parking al palacio esta a unos 15 minutos. tiene mucha sombra

Passamos uma noite tranquila neste local. A vista é bonita, dá para visitar alguns pontos turísticos da serra. As casas de banho estão fechadas há algum tempo. Vale a pena passar uma noite neste local.
Très calme nuit et jour, aucun service, vous êtes en forêt sur un beau parking vide. Réveil dans la brume et balade en forêt dans la fraîcheur. C’est parfait quand on aime la nature.
Super ! On a pu se garer gratuitement et pique-niquer. Puis nous sommes partis visiter la forêt et le parc directement depuis ce parking. Il y a de l'ombre, même pour un grand camping-car>7m. Parfait !
Toller PP, unmittelbar am NP! Komoot bietet von hier mehrere Touren durch den Park an wir haben die 6,75km Tour gemacht...sehr schön. Platz ist Gebühren frei!
Sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Kirchenglocken sind weit entfernt zu hören, aber überhaupt nicht störend. Der Parkplatz ist Gratis und ein Grossteil der Zufahrtsstrassen breit genug. Nur ein kurzes stück ist etwas schmaler (durchs Dorf).
Ein sehr schöner Parkplatz mit wirklich tollen Ausblick. Im Dorf unterhalb befindet sich ein Schild welches über die Gebühren des Parks aufmerksam macht. Trotz dem man an dem Schild vorbeifährt ist der Parkplatz nicht im Nationalpark und deshalb kostenfrei (so einheimische). Es ist sehr ruhig bis auf alle 15min. die Glocken von der Kirche.
parking parfait jour et nuit très calme et qui permet d'entrer comme piéton sur le site de Bussaco par la porte Sula. Plan du site disponible au syndicat d'initiative près de l'hôtel.

Excellent place close to the nature- just at the entrance to the Bucaco Forest. Even on Sunday morning there were no cars apart from few campers/ vans.
Really nice, quiet spot with beautiful views, adjacent to the Bucaco nature area. You can access trails right from the site and hike for hours through gorgeous wilderness. There are restrooms - locked in early April- that may be open when it’s busier. Follow major roads on Google maps to access - we turned down a small local road accidentally and it was very difficult to get through with a van.
Mega mega toller Platz. Das Dorf ist absolut ruhig, kaum Verkehr. Der Platz ist super groß und man findet leicht einen Platz, bei Regen sicher auch top da asfaltiert. Der Wald ist so Märchenhaft, es gibt so wunderschöne Wanderwege und Kletterabschnitte, so viel zu besichtigen und wunderbarer Ort um zu entspannen. Seien Sie vorsichtig viele Hunde frei und nachts ab und zu gebelle.

Stayed here for one night and the following day. Nobody else parked here and we only saw one other person. There are toilets but they are locked at this time. Generally clean and absolutely quiet. Lovely start for multiple walks around the forest, the Remarkable Tree Trail is 7km around the walled forest area and is stunning.
Bon parking pour faire les randonné dans la forêt ! Sol relativement plat, et calme de nuit. Je déconseille de passer par le petit village Verza pour accéder à Luso la route est très très compliqué avec un véhicule de 7m..
Idéal pour visiter le magnifique parc. Nous sommes descendus par la Portas de Sula mais sommes remontés par la route car trop raide. Nuit super calme. Très bel endroit.
grote parkeerplaats, heel rustig, ook 's nachts. vanuit hier kun je het park in. als je de blauwe pijltjes volgt zie je alle mooie plekken. de route is ongeveer 8 km met flinke hoogteverschillen. we hebben er 4.5 uur over gedaan (inclusief lunchen en koffie drinken op terras). in 3 uur is het wel te lopen.
Parking muy extenso. No hay casi vehículos. Posibilidad de sombra. En 10-15 minutos a pie por un sendero del bosque estás en el Hotel Palacio. En el acceso a aproximadamente un kilómetro hay un tramo de pave que hay que ir despacio. Se puede llegar perfectamente con una autocaravana de 7'5 metros. No dormimos aquí, pero debe ser super tranquilo, porque ya lo es por el día.
superbe endroit tranquille, sans service, mais gratuit et permettant de visiter le site à pied. Par contre, prenez une appli de rando, un plan ou des repe, on peut vite s'égarer dans ce grand domaine.
Sehr schöner und ruhiger Platz zum parken (und übernachten)! Tolles Schloss bzw. Park. Insbesondere die Erimitage sollte man sich ansehen mit einem wahnsinnigen Blick über Luso. Zum Sonnenuntergang sollte man ca 2 km weiter um Aussichtspunkt Cruz Alta fahren.
Endroit vraiment parfait pour visiter gratuitement la forêt de Bucaço et pour dormir au calme. Accès facile avec un cc de 7 mètres. Simplement vous munir d’une carte des sentiers ou avoir l’application all trails en main. Beaucoup de sentiers s’y croisent. C’est un lieu superbe pour les amateurs de nature.

Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Guter Ausgangspunkt um den Nationalwald Bucaco zu besuchen.
Tranquille bon point de départ pour Buçaco mais le sentier bleue de l’eau est très en pente.Visite avec un ciel gris de 3h environ 4km.
Perfecte plek om te overnachten en park te bezoeken. Hebben 2 nachten gestaan, als je door de poort gaat , vlg dan de blauwe pijltjes route, kom je langs alle hoogte punten van het park, inclusief het kasteel, de moeite waard. Wij hebben er 4 uur over gedaan.
very quiet carpark at the top of town. Ideal to visit the park and the 360 Luso walk. We stayed mid march and there was only 1 other campervan. we had an excellent night. only bins available at this site. the local church rings its lovely bells every 15 min but it stops ringing between 10pm and 7am. one car showed up around 6pm and did some doughnuts but it only lasted 5 min (or less)
Très grand parking, un peu en pente. Il suffit de marcher 5min pour rejoindre l'entrée du parc du palais. Nous n'y avons pas dormi, mais c'était très calme (nous étions seuls sur ce parking fin novembre)
Perfect place to park for a visit to the beautiful forest. Just enter next to the toilets and follow the blue arrows for a really nice circular hike. The dogs can indeed be a bit annoying at night.

A lot of dogs are very loud at the night. toilet paper and garbage on the parking place. I think the most people in small van have no toilets.

Place to park was full of garbage but Bucaco park with fountains and hotel in the center is very nice. We went thru the park to Luso and was manageable even with two kids

Grosser Platz am Berg auf festem Grund, leicht abfallend mit Blick nach Osten auf die Serra. Kein Service. Sonne und Schatten. Nachts ruhig. Zugang in den "Zauberwald". Wir sind heute fast 4 Stunden im Wald spaziert. Faszinierend alte grosse Bäume, ein stilvolles Schloss, jetzt Hotel. Dort Infos und Café. Der Kreuzweg war ein Highlight. Kapellen mit 3D Bildern werden renoviert.

Large car park, lots of space, good access to park. Park is great. Didn't stay as the weather closed in. Be careful following satav here.The way in through luso is a much better road! it's very narrow, wiggly and poorly surfaced the other way!
Accès qui parait compliqué car étroit mais ça passe avec camping- car 6,50 m, pas hésiter à enclencher une 1ère dans le virage que le GPS indique route adhérente, grand parking à l’entrée du Parc et gratuit, à 500 mètres c'est 12 € et l’accès sur pavés est pas mieux.
