this location is down a very narrow track farmers and residents require access, there is a very tight turning area. I would give it a miss but you'll discover this yourself if you visit

Beautiful spot. A very small uneven car park right next to the sea. Very quiet and dark at night. Not a good place to be in wild weather. No services or bins. A few houses dotted close by. So be respectful of them and you will be fine.

Spectacular sea views of Achill and surrounding Islands with Croagh Patrick in the background. The sea is literally at your toes, rocky beach for swimming. Space for 4 vehicles. We'll come back.
tanfran21/06/2023pasamos una noche tranquila, pero para una autocaravana, el camino es muy estrecho (rozas en la vegetación por los dos lados) y el estacionamiento tiene una fuerte pendiente.

Ein wunderschöner Platz allerdings nur 4 Sterne durch die Schrägen. Zum Sonnenuntergang oder Baden super. Schlafen war okay.

Nice place with an amazing sunset and view. The house are really far away. We took a nice swim! The spot isn’t straight.

Parking slopes a bit. But the views are worth it. Not massive space but later in evening all cars leave. Turning is possible but you might have to let cars leave. Narrow road down but no obstacles, pull in to house entrances to let cars pass. Don’t block gateways because farmers do enter fields.
chockswahay20/07/2022This is a nice little carpark by the sea with a slipway for small boats. The ground does slope extensively. We had a quiet night without any other visitor. I would think twice about this place if I had a bigger van, the road is very narrow and the turning area very tight. Best suited to small vans.

Petit parking penché au bord d’une digue de rochers. Pas de panneau d’interdiction de stationner. Pipi nature. Belle vue sur la mer et le croagh Patrick. À la vue des maisons environnantes.
