Small parking bay just off the road. Ok for one night. Next to two cattle grids either side. Noise from cars and grid during the day. At night a few cars and some music being played but died down around 10/11. Slept well. Lovely visit to Strathy Beach. Local pub just a walk away and toilet at the cemetery parking. Council van came and watched for a few mins then drove away. Started the afternoon just two vans evened with four just about squeezed in. Bin on site too.

parking autorisant le nuitee qui est bien pratique dans ce coin relativement pauvre en espace autorisé. comme dit dans les précédents commentaires, le site est plat, un peu bruyant. allez dîner ou boire un verre au Pub a 200m pour compenser la gratuité du site et faire vivre le commerce local qui souffre de la trop grande fréquentation de camping car qui ne font que passer. on y mange bien

Piccolo parcheggio su terra in piano ma con tante buche , il vantaggio è che pur essendo vicino all A 836 risulta tranquillo e silenzioso . Se volete proseguire per fare una passeggiata al faro ricordate di fermarvi prima dell’area antistante il cancello di ingresso poiché in realtà è un piazzale per l’inversione di del marcia . Troverete piccoli spiazzi 100 metri prima per il solo parcheggio .

Great free spot! Quiet at night, with a rubbish bin available. It can get a bit windy, but overall a peaceful place to stay. 5min away from a public toilet & near to strathy beach which is very pretty!

Schöner kleiner Parkplatz. Nachts sehr ruhig und morgens wird man von den Schafen geweckt. Mülleimer vorhanden, ansonsten keine Infrastruktur. Platz ist eben und nur ein paar Meter weiter kann man an den Strand. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Lieu calme la nuit, place pour 4 fourgons/vans, mais attention à ne pas abuser: les locaux commencent à exprimer leur mécontentement en klaxonnant le matin. La cattle grid fait du bruit à partir de 6:00. Belle vue sur les lointaines Orcades.

Lieu tranquille et plutôt plat. Place pour 3 camping car. Un peu en retrait de la route donc calme, joli vue.

Recht ebene Fläche, Übernachten ist erlaubt, sehr ruhig - alles okay

flat gravel parking area with a bin. great views over the coast. you can see the Orkneys. far enough from the road so no major traffic noise. There is a cattle grid that makes a little more noise, but not a lot and traffic is very light so it's not frequent. definitely a good spot for a sleep.

Nice little spot to stay the night. A few cars passed by but not much noise and nobody else this time of year.

Good little spot off main road. flat bay with bin,stayed in campervan,was quiet as well .

No problems staying flat

It’s quiet except very windy today. It can park 2 or 3 motorhomes depending the size. There are quite few potholes but we have small van so no problem to avoid them. It’s not completely flat but it will do for a night

quiet and peaceful night. a man from council came and gave us leaflet about leaving no trace etc and said we were fine to stay there

Great spot, a million stars in the sky at night but woke up to a slashed tyre! Clearly the locals don’t like us parking here so much.

Currently room for 2 vans as a maintenance compound is set up , spoke with local lady tending to church garden she didn’t mind a couple of vans at any one time as school bus needs to turn . Quiet basic park up litter bin provided

Perfect nice stay. Didn’t hear the noise of the road at all. No other campers when we stayed. Did a lovely run to the lighthouse in the morning. Would recommend.

Quiet spot, nice views of hills and sea. If up early enough can see the sunrise.

Stayed the night here. Quiet at night. Ground was level (but lots of potholes). Lovely sea views. Quite open to the elements. Bin provided. Good signal on EE.

heavy rain meant this parking area flooded very fast as the water wasn't draining away, had to leave and find somewhere else to park.

Good flat spot, friendly pub down the road. Not sheltered at all but had full signal and nice views over the sea

Great spot for a night. Relatively quiet from the road, view of the sea. Not sheltered from the wind but it has reception, rubbish bin and a pub down the road.

Rustige plek, kan wel winderig zijn. Prachtige omgeving aan de vuurtoren, wandeling er op 15 minuten heen!
